Prior to founding CannDelta Inc., Sherry spent several years in the federal government, most notably Health Canada’s Medical Cannabis Program as a Senior Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement Officer where she was responsible for licensing application reviews and on-site facility inspections under the legislative regimes of the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) and Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). She also contributed to field level input during the drafting of the current Cannabis Regulations. As such, she has demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience in the cannabis industry and has spoken at cannabis conferences in Canada and abroad.
Sherry holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from York University, a Hon. B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, and a Graduate Certificate with Honours in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs and Quality Operations from Seneca College. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (CAPRA).
In both her current Consultant role and her previous role as Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Peace Naturals, Jennifer has been intimately involved in all aspects of the day to day operations of a licensed cannabis facility including Good Production/Manufacturing Practices, product specifications and release, licensing, Regulatory liaison with Health Canada, standard operating procedure development, education/outreach, research and development, curriculum development and training.
Jennifer and the team at CLE build relationships built on trust, transparency and respect as they guide their clients through each step of the complex cannabis licensing process.
While employed at Health Canada’s Inspectorate lab in Toronto he honed his regulatory knowledge, technical writing skills and learn about quality systems. He now specializes in new technology regulation, lab practices, and scientific/regulatory document writing at CannDelta.

Eric's practice focuses on corporate finance, mergers and acquisition, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Eric routinely acts as lead counsel to Canadian, U.S. and international cannabis companies in connection with the financing and going public transactions and also assists licensed producers, retailers and other cannabis industry stakeholders with commercial agreements including cannabis royalty, offtake, supply and licensing arrangements. Eric is also recognized as a thought leader in the cannabis industry and has been quoted in multiple media outlets including Bloomberg, The Globe & Mail, The Financial Post, CTV News and Leafly.

Over the past six years, David’s team has provided security and licensing advisory services to over 450 cannabis production sites, including 60% of federally-licensed producers of cannabis in Canada. David’s team has also worked on 100+ retail cannabis store applications across five provinces and on First Nations land.
David holds a Master of Science degree (with distinction) in Security & Risk Management from the University of Leicester and was a long-time security lecturer at the University of Calgary.

Ian has 14+ years experience in business development and partnerships across multiple industries. He’s a father of two and in his spare time dabbles in voice acting and standup comedy.

Trina represents licensed cannabis cultivators, processors, medical sellers, adult-use retailers and ancillary cannabis industry service providers. She also advises the cannabis industry association Cannabis Council of Canada (C3).
Trina is a registered trademark agent and provides counsel to her clients in protecting their intellectual property.
She studied at Queen’s University, where she earned Bachelor of Commerce and Juris Doctor degrees.
Advocacy and community involvement are very important to Trina. She sits on the board of directors of Canadians for Fair Access to Medical Marijuana (CFAMM), as well as Ottawa-based charity The Snowsuit Fund.
Matt provides business and regulatory advice to a range of cannabis industry stakeholders, including licensed producers, producer applicants, owners of businesses that provide ancillary services to the cannabis industry, entrepreneurs with start-up aspirations and foreign businesses looking to enter the
Canadian market or enter into partnerships with established Canadian cannabis businesses. Matt prides himself on staying abreast of developing cannabis-related legislation at the federal, provincial and municipal levels across the entire country which allows him to service clients throughout Canada and internationally.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in international development and globalization from the University of Ottawa in 2011 before earning her Juris Doctor (Hons) from the University of Ottawa and her Master of International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University in 2015. Ms. Sa’d was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016.
Her practice includes defending civil liberties, including sex and drug offences and advocacy with respect to human rights and social justice issues, as well as matters relating to landlord and tenant law.
Ms. Sa’d handles criminal law matters such as bail hearings, document preparation, notarization, preliminary inquiries, sentencing hearings, and trials. She assists with the defence of Criminal Code offences, including assault, youth charges, domestic assault, theft, fraud, robbery, mischief, break and enter, weapons offences, and traffic violations.
Fluent in French and English, Ms. Sa’d articled at a Bay Street litigation law firm boutique and was selected for a secondment to one of the big five banks.
During her legal studies, Ms. Sa’d was ranked first out of 265 students in English Common Law during her first year. She received the François Houle Scholarship for academic excellence, the Toyota Earth Day Scholarship for environmental community service, and an Ontario Graduate Scholarship in support of her research on the intersection between law, identity politics, and gender-based violence.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Sa’d interned with a human rights organization in India. She wrote and illustrated a guide to domestic violence legislation, which has since been circulated to thousands of at-risk women across the country.
Ms. Sa’d writes about race, identity politics, and gender-based violence and hosts the legal podcast “Cool Your Head.”

Rachel is a frequent writer and speaker on strategic branding, marketing to women and using cannabis as medicine. As chief strategist for YCREATIVE, a brand strategy and design agency specializing in the cannabis industry, Rachel works closely with Licensed Producers, cannabis start-ups and ancillary businesses throughout Canada and the United States.
Rachel is also the founder of Eves of Eden, a cannabis lifestyle and education brand for women in Canada; co-host of The High Friends podcast which is in its second season of sharing stories of women who unapologetically love cannabis; a mentor and advisor for Leaf Forward, Canada’s first cannabis business-accelerator program; Host and Producer of the newly launched cable television program Cannabis TV, which broadcasts modern cannabis education for curious Canadians every week on the CHCH network; and the founder of The BLOC (Boss Ladies of Cannabis) the global database of executive women in the cannabis industry.
Jennifer loves working directly with clients to truly understand their business and marketing challenges in order to develop cutting-edge and innovative brand strategies that stand out and get noticed. Her ability to create a positive dynamic with a diverse group of people and inspire teams means she’s much in demand. Most recently, she developed and hosted the first annual New Heights Cannabis Marketing Summit in Toronto to a sold-out audience of senior-level marketers from all aspects of the cannabis industry. The company is preparing its brewing and winemaking operations to become a leader in cannabis infused beverages to be available in late 2019 or whenever the government decides to allow them. Terry is also the co-founder of the Cannabis Beverage Producers Alliance, a national organization representing the unique interests of beverage producers for lobbying and public education.

In 2014, Rosy founded Soma Labs Scientific which in 2016, amalgamated to form Quadron Cannatech Corporation. Quadron listed with the CSE in January 2017, making her the world’s first female founder and CEO of a publicly-traded cannabis company. In May 2018, Ms. Mondin presented to the Standing Senate Committee and provided valuable insight as to how Health Canada could benefit from implementing new regulations. Most recently, Ms. Mondin won the inaugural ‘Woman in Weed – Trailblazer’ Award at the 2018 Canadian Cannabis Awards and was featured in ‘Women in Weed’ and ‘The Growth Op’ as one of the most influential women in the cannabis space.
